Kuchh mein....

Kuchh adhuri si kuchh tanha si…

Ghani chhanv me bhi dhup si tapti ….

Selab ke kinaron ki reton me dhundti…

Apne nishan se ojhal hoti…

Ja rahi me kin dishaon me…

Khud hi khud ko puchhti..

Na caravan na manzil …

Bas anjane rasto me bani galiyo ki palchhin…

Chali ja rahin hun samay ke jhonko me simti….

Kuchh adhuri si kuchh tanha si…

Ghani chhanv me bhi dhup si tapti…

Zindgi teri meri kahani,

Thodi hasi thodi nadani,

Mere bhitar bas teri ravani,

Sukh dekar dukh lelu sare,

Thama hai haath tera,

Nibhaungi saath Umrabhar,

chahe koi bhi mushkil aaye,

saath rahegi tere yeh teri deewani

Cherish the joy of having sibling

Overheard a conversation between a kid n his Mom while I was browsing through in a shopping mall. A kid would be of 4 to 5 conversing with his Mom

Kid: Mom, why don’t I have brother? (After asking the same question for several times his Mom replied annoyingly)

Mom: I have told you not to ask such silly questions. (Her reply really shocked me!!! Is this the way you reply back to your kid on such questions!!)

Kid: But Jay (may be kid's fren) has brother. I also want brother to play with me.

Mom: having brother means you have to share your toys, clothes, chocolates everything with him…..

I left the place to make my payment done so don’t know rest but it really shocked me. Is this what young parents learn from the books on parenthood or it is the demand of time to have only a single child to live life with less burden!!! Whatever it is but the worst part was the approach of that leady towards her son’s innocent question.

“Having brother means you have to share your toys, clothes, chocolates everything with him…..” how one can define bond of sibling in such words!!!!

Rather having sibling means sharing your childhood and adulthood with your best buddy with whom you love sharing not only toys and chocolates but all your silly to serious talks, confusions, with whom you love to fight, whom you dominate at the same you love to be dominated, sibling is the one who knows your all ins and outs, who is the one somewhat understands you the most, with whom you grow up and live one of the best days of childhood, at younger age he is your buddy to play with you, in adulthood your pal to support and guide you….

Really feel glad to have my brother with whom life has been great living. Bond with him is not just possible to describe in words. Being a girl you don’t come across many boyish things in your life but that is your brother who shows you the world through his eyes. Today many things I know about sports, finance, practicality is because of my brother. Whether its F1 racing to meaning of ACE in tennis, names of WWF wrestlers, booms and dooms of stock market to pravachans on becoming practical and strong in life ,  I got to know because of my brother.

I love uttrayan because my brother is crazy for the fest and wants me to be with him to hold his ‘firki’, I love Diwali because my brother protects me when I get afraid of blasting crackers, I watch sports on TV because he answers all my sports related silly questions, I try bike riding because he balances the pulsar while I drive, he never says no to me whatever I demand to eat whether its ice-cream at late night or trying out new restaurant….

I never realized when my younger brother became elder than me through his care, nature and act towards me.Today I feel m younger than him and he pampers my kiddies acts at the same scolds me for my mistakes. He fights with me for the TV remote at the same takes me out for the long drive too. I look up to him for advice. I  really admire his thoughts, maturity, nature, knowledge, skills oh d list is going on...I find him the supportive pillar of my life who understands me so well.

I still remember it was really a tough situation when my brother moved to another city for higher studies and after living together for 20 years, the time came when we have to live distantly. But it is just a physical distance, through phone, sms, internet and in our heart we have always been connected. Distance has not brought any coldness in our relationships. In fact now we miss each other more. I wait dates to stop at his vacations so he can come back home and we have a great family moments.

Whether its brother-brother, sister-sister or brother-sister, Sibling gives you the joy of  saying he/she is MY brother/sister...... with full of love.
 Love this song.....

Phoolon ka taron ka sabka kehna hai…
Ek hazaro me mera BHAIYA hai…
Sari umar hame sang rehna hai….

Luv u Bhai.....:)

Matrimonial profiles-funny observations

My Dad keeps telling me to check out my matrimonial profile ( The one he has created on a matrimonial portal to find a suitable match for me) regularly and browse through the profiles. On one fine day Dad made a point that I sit with him and go through the profiles. Hmmm... time to do some serious job but what I ended up doing some really funny observations. :)

It starts with creating profile….
Here you will find profiles created by self, parent, sibling, friend and in some cases ‘other’( Now I wonder who is this ‘other’ who takes pain to search match for his/her ‘other’ on matrimonial site by creating profile!!! Any guesses???) Now in ‘self’ category you will find those brave ‘boys’ and ‘girls’ who are real warriors participating in the battle of finding suitable match for them by creating profile on their own. (Fact : The count of boys creating ‘self’ profile comes higher than the girls)

Now if you think profile which has tag other than ‘self’ means it is really their parents, sibling and friend who are searching match for him/her then you are mistaking. Some players prefer to play chhupa rustam game. They create their profile but cover up themselves behind the name of parents, sibling, friends and yea ‘other’ too- I still couldn’t figure out who could be this ‘other’!!!! That you would come to know when you read their profile write up showing mixture of first person, second person, third person, singular, plural and all khichdi. One more proof, at the time of expressing interest they forget that the profile shows it is created by parent and the message shows their name in Regards J ( Fact : Some of them are genuine ones too.)

Now it comes about length of ‘about me’
Most of them will say it is difficult to describe myself in few words so they end it up with 2-3 lines only. Oppositely few would write thesis about themselves that too ending up with the lines ‘sorry if I have forgotten to share something.’ (Yaah you just have left writing about your neighbours !!!)Some ‘real’ smart people simply copy matter from other’s write up. I came to know about this after seeing similar lines in different profiles that too not only sentences but whole profile write up!!! copy cats here too!!! (How about registering copy right haan!!!)

Now it comes about things mentioned in ‘about me’
This is the place to advertise yourself with sentences flooding with adjectives. Now common stuff includes attributes such as ‘simple’ ( I don’t understand what simple means exactly !!!!if you are not simple then what you are!!! complicated!!!!) ‘God fearing’(having belief in God is fine but what is this God fearing!!!!why God would like to create fear!!!!)  ‘He must have handsome earning’ (Madam you want to marry a guy or his salary package!!!!)

Everyone likes music ( After getting married their fights would be musical..lolz)

After some common attributes now it’s time to have some' real rare' attributes. ‘As I love pets he too should have likings for pets’ ( you have to spend  life with human being not with the pet!!!!) ‘She should be bubbly and naughty like a child’ ( Please you grow up first before thinking about marriage. Mental level of maturity should also be considered along with the age criteria what say!!!) ‘She must look good and have fair complexion’ ( people also write ‘fair colour’ grrrr..thank God they don’t write’white color girl’..lolz)

Now let’s come to the intelligently funny part. Some profile creators make matrimonial sites really ullu by not paying a single penny and still they reveal their contact details. Now think how!!! See what funny things they do. What they do they mention their email id in their profile but in such a way that the profile moderator couldn’t get it while scanning the profile. See the example

xyz at ya dot come ( at = @, ya = yahoo, come = com) simple got the id!!!! Some ‘smart’ people mention their email id in regional language e.g. ‘ maru prolife id e j maru gmail id chhe’ oh!!!!!! going one step ahead I also came across the profiles where they write ‘you can find me on orkut’ for further communication!!!! Whatta way I must say!!!best use of matrimonial portal with the help of Orkut:P Poor matrimonial sites…lol if they have lock then the smart brains have the keys…..:D

To Jigisha---As you wanted me to write something on this I am dedicating this post to you...:)

Christmas….now n then- Time changes memories don’t…

Those were the days when Christmas happened to be a blast…. wishes, Cake, Red dress code, lightings, visit to church, beats of Christmas carols, gathering at Fatehgunj-a hub of young crowd in Baroda on christmas and 31st, dinner at decorated restaurant and lots of fun…gone are the days
Today my cousin asked me what are your Christmas plans!!!and that question opened up the doors of my past Christmas memories. How madly I used to celebrate Christmas!!!

I still remember that childhood innocence when I had strong faith in santa’s existence. And the faith was so deep that on Christmas eve I used to put a pair of socks under my pillow to get gift from Santa. And how can I forget my bro!!! So I used to put a pair of socks under his pillow too so he also can get gift from Santa. And then a nice sleep with the excitement to get up early in the morning to see what gifts santa has dropped into socks!!! Though next day seeing an empty socks was quite disappointing.:( I asked my brother whether he has got something from santa or not but he was too young at that time to understand what Santa is and what gift I am talking about. And see the heights of optimism I thought Santa would have found difficulty in opening the door as it was locked yesternight so what my little brain thought from next year I will hang the socks outside the door so when santa come to drop gift he would not find difficulty in dropping the gift because of doors locked!!!! But before the next Christmas came my grown up age made me understood that Santa lives in stories only.

So when next year Christmas came I told my brother that real Santa exists and you keep socks under your pillow next day you would find a gift. He did it following my words and guess what!!! next day when he got up a gift was waiting for him..now guess which Santa brought that one for him!!!! Yup It was me her Sis who became a santa for him....gone are the days

I love to smile remembering this incident which I have not shared with anyone so far. How innocent I was and stupid too…lol

During school days I literally used to pull my brother to come along with me in church on christmas. Going to church at Ffategunj and from there to Monginis for pastry and chocolates and then a nice dinner with Mom-Dad and Bro at restaurant where getting chocolates from Santa was the joy…gone are the days
With the days passing on friends became the company for Christmas celebration. Me n my gang of girls in red dress code, roaming around in Fatehgunj, exchanging gifts and chocolates, clicking snaps with santa and cherishing moments…..gone are the days

Now I don’t place socks under my pillow because I know Santa is not going to come, I don’t visit church because I find myself ‘busy’, I don’t eat cake and chocolates because have become health conscious , I don’t go to Fatehgunj because now I find that crowd nuisance…..Time changes memories don't.

Jingle bells jingle bells, jingle all the way……

Merry Christmas!!!!!:)

Time never stops. The year 2008 is about to leave and a new sun rise of 2009 is saying

Another fresh new year is here...

Another year to live!To banish worry, doubt, and fear,

To love and laugh and give!

This bright new year is given meTo live each day with zest . . .

To daily grow and try to beMy highest and my best!

I have the opportunityOnce more to right some wrongs,

To pray for peace, to plant a tree,And sing more joyful songs!”

The year 2009 here we come… We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called HOPE and its first chapter is "New year's Day."

Applicability of cellular 3G technology in media communication

The advent of the mobile phone has revolutionized the way we communicate. A few years ago, the mobile phones were designed and developed and nothing has been the same since then. Second generation mobile phone technology has given way to third generation (3G) technology; and we have been blessed with better connectivity as well as versatility in general communication as well as media communication. we would like to know how the media can get ease through the different features of 3G mobile phones in mobility of news, rapid updates, coverage from remote areas, news transition and so on.

What is 3G?

• 3 G stands for the third generation of standards and technology after 1st generation analog technology shifted to 2 g and 2.5 g digital technology.
• A telecommunication company of Japan launched a first 3G cellular network in 2001.

• 3 G mobile phones are now coming to the Indian market where LG has become the first company to introduce the 3 G phones in Indian market.

• Today Nokia N- series, Motorola, Erricssion ,Samsung etc phones facilitate the features of 3G technologies in their respective models.

Now let’s take a look of various features of 3G phones and its applicability in media communication along with general communication.

Network mobility:-

3G networks can catch frequency from remote areas .with the help of 3G phones one can not be able to cover the news only but also can send it via internet network facilitate by 3G phones from the place where ordinary network could not reach.

MMS :-

• Today we all know the use of MMS. Though sometimes it has been misused but as outcome of the technology depends on its use, here user can get video clips, audio clips graphics, and text and can send them to a compatible phone or pc. Here how can we forget the citizen journalists .at the time of London boambing,9/11,tsunami and at several otere incidents were the people who shot it first and send it across through MMS.

Video conferencing:-

A video conference system utilizing a mobile phone and the method thereof is provided. Simple analog videoconferences could be established as early as the invention of the television. Such videoconferencing systems consisted of two closed-circuit television systems connected via cable. The mobile phone includes an audio detection device, a photo-sensing device, a conversion unit, a transceiver unit, and a loudspeaker. The mobile phone records images and sounds, and outputs a video signal and an audio signal to the computer host accordingly. The computer further sends the video and audio signals to a remote client via an internet. The images and sounds in the remote client are sent to the computer host via the internet, and the sounds are played out by the loudspeaker of the mobile phone. TV channels routinely use this kind of videoconferencing when reporting from distant locations.
Voice messages:-

it anables Voicemail systems a much more sophisticated than answering machines Here one needs not to call a person to convey the message but can send a message in own voice on receiver’s number. at the time of live reporting reporter’s can convey the news on air and simulteniously can get messages about upcoming progress on news event from sources without attending calls.

Video call :-

Imagine seeing the expressions on the faces of people that you love as and when you are taking to them in real time. They could be near you; or they could be far away...but thanks to the video calling feature.
With the help of video phone user can see who they are talking to, even can take still photos that can be sent to other computers or mobile phones.
Here if reporter finds some news story and camera person would not be available in that case reporter himself can give live reporting from the place of incident.

Communication has changed drastically due to plethora of telecommunication techniques being discovered and invented. 3G is one such third generation technology which supports full-motion video, video-conferencing and Internet access on mobile phones. it also enables subscribers of 3G to

Global roaming:-where we can get roaming capabilitynthrough out Europe, Japan, and North America which was not possible on all 2G phones.
TV screeming :- you can watch TV on your mobile phone
Stock updates:-you can get current stock updates
GPRS-emails and net surfing on mobile
• Blogs:- you can creat mblog through a mobile
Music and downloads:-high-speed memory gives easy fast downloads
High-speed data transfer:- user can transfer the datas to the respective mobile or pc with very high-speed.

Driving forces for 3G technology:-

• Demand for basic wireless services
• Demand of basic telecom services in third world countries are increasing on a stiff climb.
• Internet, multimedia and data service demand has surged up.
• Global roaming is also pushing this evolution as well.
• Call traffic, in order to have better capacity servers and for better efficiency it has become necessary to shift on 3G services.
• Roaming capability throughout Europe, Japan, and North America which was not possible on all 2G phones
So these are the points which in forces 3G technologies to drive in India.

Here where India is stepping on towards the edge of 3G there countries like Japan and Korea enhancing with 4G and 4.5G…we can say the generation Z will be coming soon….
